As a part of the Swatcha Bharat Campaign, the Kalyana Bharathi Trust members took an active part in the clean and Green activity in Venkateswarapalem ST Colony, Dakkili Mandal, Nellore District.
The trust members with the help of the rural population took part in the plantation programs to keep the household, and other surrounding areas, village roads to keep the roads tidy and to keep greenery.
The participants includes the Village Sarpanch, Panchyati Secretary, Villege Revenue Officer, ANM, Anganwadi Teacher, local MP, elementary school teacher, and local community people.
On the occasion, chairperson of the Kalyana Bharathi Trust, Smt.B.Bharathi has emphasized the prevention of mosquitos to control the spread of viral diseases like Dungue, Malaria, Chickenguinia etc.
She emphasized on the importance of toilet, tub cleaning, and keeping away the wastage in the designated dustbins that are kept separately for wet waste (tadi chettha) and dry waste (podi Chettatha) to arrest the spread of contagious diseases.
